'Panchayat 3' trailer out | Amazon Prime Video have finally unveiled the much-anticipated trailer for Season 3 of Panchayat after weeks of teasing fans. The original cast returns to Phulera Village, where they face fresh challenges and adversaries.
Building more excitement among the fans, makers on Wednesday unveiled the thrilling official trailer.
Taking to Instagram, streaming platform Prime Video treated fans with the official trailer.
Along with the video, they captioned the post, which read, "We know you couldn't wait, so here's Panchayat's newest update. watch the trailer & get ready for #PanchayatOnPrime, May 28."
The upcoming season promises to delve deeper into the comical escapades of the villagers. Politics and rivalries take center stage, leading to a series of humorous trials and tribulations.
The trailer sees its much-loved returning star cast Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa get embroiled in matters of the heart and politics, and much more.
The video opens with a new "sachiv" (secretary) presenting himself to Raghubir Yadav's character, the village chief. Jitendra Kumar appears in the teaser, stating that the "sachiv" move has been delayed and he would still be helping the Phulera community.
Kumar's persona makes an effort to avoid getting involved in the Phulera village politics. But the locals get ready for the 'pradhan' election.
In "Panchayat 3," an urban engineering graduate named Abhishek is followed as he takes a job as a Panchayat secretary in the isolated Uttar Pradesh village of Phulera since he can't find better employment opportunities elsewhere.
'Panchayat S3' is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar. It will premiere in Hindi, with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The light-hearted entertainer is all set to return with the new season on May 28.
