'Pushpa 2': Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna new song features chemistry of Pushpa Raj and Srivalli
The highly anticipated sequel "Pushpa 2: The Rule" starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna continues to build excitement with the release of its new song. The second single, titled "Sooseki" (also known as "Angaaron"), showcases the sizzling chemistry between the characters Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) and Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna).
The song was released on May 29, 2024.
The song is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the lyrics are written by Raqueeb Alam with the vocals given by Shreya Ghoshal.
Taking to Instagram handle, Rashmika Mandanna penned a gratitude note for being a part of the song.
The note read, "I truly had manifested for a song where I could get the whole country grooving again.. and HERE it is.. !! It's the couple's song.. It's the family's song..it's the sibling's song..it's the friend's song..It's the bestie's song..it's THE song. I hope you like it as much as I lovvveeedddd dancing for this song.!I love you.. and we present to you..Srivalli and Pushpa ! "
The recently released song from "Pushpa 2: The Rule," which stars Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun, provides an engrossing look inside the movie's sets. Sukumar, the director, is shown in the video having fun with the filming while Allu Arjun and Rashmika, along with the rest of the cast and crew, dance to Ganesh Acharya's choreography. This new song is expected to be just as infectious as the well-known "Saami Saami" from the first movie.
"Sooseki" (Telugu), "Angaaron" (Hindi), "Soodaana" (Tamil), "Nodoka" (Kannada), "Kandaalo" (Malayalam), and "Aaguner" (Bengali) are the six languages in which the song has been released. The production company, Mythri Movie Makers, recently released a teaser film with the caption "The Couple Song Announcement Video," in which Rashmika Mandanna can be seen on set doing Allu Arjun's trademark hand step.
With its six-language release earlier this month, the movie's opening single "Pushpa Pushpa" became extremely popular all throughout India. Produced by Muttamsetty Media and Mythri Movie Makers, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is scheduled for release on August 15, 2024. With Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, respectively, Allu Arjun, who was nominated for a National Film Award for his performance in the first installment, plays Pushpa Raj once more. The movie carries on the theme of the first movie, which was power battles amid red sandalwood smuggling.
