Faridkot: Former SSP Charanjit Sharma sent to judicial for 14 days Former SSP Charanjit Sharma was remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by a Faridkot Court on Thursday. Charanjit Sharma was arrested by SIT in Behbal Kalan firing case. He has appealed to the court not to keep him in any Faridkot or Ferozepore jail. The court first sentenced him to undergo 8 days in remand. After it got over, the court sent him to judicial remand for 14 days. According to media reports, he was arrested from his house in Hoshiarpur. The Special Investigation Team arrested him during the ‘raid’ that took place in the early hours of January 27.
