At least five persons including three women and a child were killed and at least 30 injured when the bus carrying them overturned near Kachuabandh village in Deoghar on Sunday.

According to a police official , the mishap took place when the passengers were returning home after attending a political rally in Dumka and the driver lost control over the steering at the turn following which the vehicle overturned.

Meanwhile , the injured were admitted to admitted to a private hospital, where they are under going treatment.
