In third tranche, FM Nirmala Sitharaman announces relief for agriculture and allied activities
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday addressed the press conference unveiling the third tranche of Rs 20 lakh crore economic package, announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The stimulus has been announced to soften the outbreak of the novel coronavirus and the lockdown on the economy.
She has already unveiled two tranches of measures - Day 1 was focused on the small businesses and the middle class while Day 2 was for migrants and farmers. Meanwhile, she said that today's announcements will focus on agriculture and allied activities.
