German Singh sent on Judicial Remand after interrogation German Singh, the mastermind behind a conspiracy to assassinate Prakash Singh Badal, has been sent on Judicial remand after the investigation. Rajasthan Police arrested him in Bikaner on October 18 in a joint operation with the Patiala police. German was questioned for almost 10 days by the city police, Intelligence Bureau (IB), New Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad. For further investigation, he would be sent to Uttar Pradesh. They planned to target former CM near the national highway. A team formed under the CIA in charge tracked him down. They traced him to Kalaint village. The Patiala police alerted the Rajasthan police. They picked up the accused for questioning and later handed him over to Patiala police. Patiala SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu said, “We are yet to ascertain if he had been directly linked to any radical group.
