Haryana Assembly Election Result 2019: BJP fails to get majority, may stake claim to form Government

Haryana Assembly Election Result 2019: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Thursday failed to get majority. However, it is going to stake claim to form government as a single largest party. BJP won 40 seats, while Congress got 31 seats. The voting took place for 90-constituencies of Haryana on Monday, i.e. October 21. The voter turnout for this time was 68.30 percent. The total number of candidates is 1169. The exit polls stated that BJP will get a huge majority, while there was a neck to neck contest with Congress party. However, it is going to stake claim to form government as a single largest party. 18:43 PM | Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I thank the people of Haryana for blessing us.
