Haryana board postpones declaration of Class 10 result

Days after announcing that Class 10 examination results will be declared on Monday, the Haryana Board of School Education has postponed it. The board was to declare the results of around 338,096 students on Monday. Reportedly, out of 338,096 students, 186,153 are boys while 151,943 are girls. Due to the coronavirus lockdown, the examination for the science subject did not take place. Likewise, the result was to be announced on the basis of the evaluation of the rest four subjects including the average marks of the fifth subject (science subject). The Haryana Board has decided to compile the result on the basis of 4 subjects as the exam of Science subject could not be organised due to the coronavirus outbreak. Meanwhile, the government is mulling to reopen schools in July. Haryana Board | Matric Result will not be announced today Last week, Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal stated that the schools in the state will reopen in July in a phased manner. The reopening will begin from 10, 11 and 12 followed by 6, 7, 8 and 9 and then 1 to 5.
