The Haryana government led by Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday presented a Rs 1.55 lakh crore budget for 2021-22 focusing on health, agriculture, and infrastructure. The budget proposed free education from classes 9th to 12th for all categories in government schools of Haryana.

Rs. 18,410 crores have been allocated for the education sector which is 17.8 percent more than the previous year.
