Haryana: Gangrape and murder accused dies after consuming poison A Class X student was allegedly poisoned to death after she was gang raped by three persons, including a minor, in a village in the Bhattu Kalan block of Haryana's Fatehabad district on Tuesday. The victim and the three accused belong to the same community and the same village. The third accused, who is a juvenile, also consumed poison and was rushed to Agroha Medical College and Hospital in Hisar. The three accused took turns to rape the girl and then gave her the poison saying it was a medicine. Thereafter, they dropped her home. The girl’s parents in a statement to the police said that they found their daughter missing when they returned home and were searching for her when the accused dropped her home. The accused even told the victim’s parents that they had given her a medicine as she was unwell. Both the victim and the accused belonged to the same village and area. The girl who was semi-conscious at that time was later rushed to the hospital after her health deteriorated. The girl died the next day. -PTC News
