Chandigarh: Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to inaugurate four projects totaling Rs 500 crore at four different places in the city today. According to the schedule, he would dedicate a new Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) office building. The minister will next proceed to Sector 17 to open the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at 11:35 a.m. after inaugurating the building. Around 2,000 CCTV cameras have been put across the city as part of this project. For effective service monitoring and data analysis, this state-of-the-art command centre is integrated with major citizen services such as water, power, sewage, solid waste management, transportation, e-governance, and public-bike sharing.
