India vs New Zealand WTC Final 2021, Weather Update: The final of the maiden World Test Championship is finally here and the cricket fans across the world are very excited. However, there is bad news as well, which is the 'Southampton weather' update.
June of every year in England witnesses heavy rainfall. Who can forget the ICC ODI World Cup 2019? Remember, four matches were washed out due to rain?

the rain is looming large on India vs New Zealand WTC final 2021, as per Southampton's current weather.

The weather update in Southampton does not look promising for WTC Final. The sun was out at its peak until Wednesday. The rain appeared on the eve of the start of the WTC final.
Unfortunately, Day 1 doesn't appear too different as rain is being predicted throughout Friday. It not only hampers the start time of the match but also threatens to wash the day out.
ICC had put a reserve day in place, which means that if rain does indeed play spoilsport there would be a day to make up for the time lost.
The forecast for days 2, 3, and 4 does not look optimistic either. However, the weather in England is so unpredictable.
India has already named its playing XI for the match.
