India vs South Africa, 2nd Test: India wins the toss and elects to bat first

India vs South Africa, 2nd Test: The hosts have won the toss and elected to bat first in the second Test at Pune on Thursday. India defeated Proteas in the first Test at Vishakhapatnam, after which the visitors are looking forward to a major comeback to level the series. Virat Kohli-led Team India registered the first victory to get early lead 1-0 in the three-match Test series.

Both the teams have made a single change in their playing XI. For India, Hanuma Vihari has been rested, while Umesh Yadav has been named in the playing XI. For South Africa, Anrich Nortje has replaced Dane Piedt. In the Vishakhapatnam Test, Rohit Sharma was awarded as the Player of the Match, for his dominating century in both the innings. Also, he became the second Indian opener to smash a century in both the innings, after Sunil Gavaskar.
