India vs West Indies 2nd ODI: Men in Blue are all set to take on Windies in the second ODI match at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, on Wednesday. India was defeated by the visitors by 8 wickets at Chennai. Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope led the West Indies to the win for an early lead in the three-match ODI series.
While batting first, India scored 287 runs in which midde-order played an immense role. As the opening department failed, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant played amazingly well. Iyer scored 70 runs off 88 balls, while Pant scored 71 runs off 69 balls. Kedhar Jadhav and Ravindra Jadeja scored 40 and 21 runs, respectively.
However, the total was not enough as West Indies lost just two wickets and completed the target within 47.5 overs. Shirmon Hetmyer was named the man of the match for his magnificent ton. Hetmyer hammered 139 runs off 106 balls, while Sahi Hope scored 102 runs off 151 balls.
