Indian wrestlers Bajrang Punia, Sangeeta Phogat to tie knot this November
Bajrang Punia and Sangeeta Phogat wedding: Bajrang Punia and Sangeeta Phogat will take 8 rounds instead of 7 on November 25.
The 8th round would be for Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao. The pre-wedding rituals have already started at their homes.
Bajrang Punia and Sangeeta Phogat's wedding date has been fixed as November 25. The marriage ceremony will be a low-key function.

Sangeeta belongs to village Khudden in Jhajjar district while wrestler Bajrang Punia is from Charkhi Dadri.
Both of them told their families about themselves after which the families brought their relationship to a happy outcome. The Roka ritual was played at Bajrang's house.

The engagement will take place at Sangeeta's house on the wedding day itself. Bajrang's father Balwan Singh wanted to organize a big wedding but it couldn't happen because of coronavirus.
Balwan Singh said that his desires would remain incomplete, but it was more important to follow the norms made to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Bajrang will take only 1 rupee in Shagun
According to family members, Bajrang Punia will not take a huge amount as dowry but just one rupee. Both families are strongly against dowry.
