Is it Monsoon already? Massive dust storm, rain lash Tricity
A massive dust storm followed by heavy rain hit Chandigarh and Mohali on Friday and plunged the city into darkness at around 5 pm.
There are reports of uprooting of trees and breaking of windowpanes.
There were reports of rain and breeze from parts of Punjab. Moderate to light rains occurred in other areas of Punjab bringing a sigh of relief to the residents after temperature hitting highs of above 42 degrees.
This is the second massive dust storm to hit City Beautiful in the past one month, seems like monsoon is already here!
