It's landmark day for Punjabis: Sukhbir Singh Badal on 99th Foundation Day of SAD
As Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) marks its 99th Foundation day, party president Sukhbir Singh Badal participated in 'ardas’ of Sri Akhand Path at Amritsar on Saturday. Sukhbir Singh Badal said in a tweet, "Today is landmark day for Punjabis. The party which reformed gurdwaras, participated in freedom struggle and led agitations for Punjabi suba, right to state waters and against emergency is marking 99th Foundation Day. Let us rededicate to ‘sewa’ of Punjab and Punjabiat." He added that "As I participate in 'ardas’ of Sri Akhand Path to mark 99th Foundation Day, sacrifices made by past leaders and party workers come to mind.
