Jammu and Kashmir: Grenade hurled at security forces in Srinagar

Srinagar, February 18 : A grenade was hurled at the security forces in the Khwaja Bazar Nowhatta area of Srinagar on Friday, said sources in J-K Police. Attack-on-security-forces-in-Srinagar-5 "The grenade exploded without causing any damage. The area has been cordoned off and searches started to nab the militants", police sources said. Earlier on February 11, four cops were injured and one was martyred after militants hurled a grenade on security forces in Nishat Park in North Kashmir's Bandipora district. No injuries were reported in the incident. So far no terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
