Jharkhand: Dhanbad judge Uttam Kumar dies after being hit by a vehicle
Judge Uttam Kumar Death: The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday took suo motu cognizance of the death of Additional Sessions Judge Uttam Kumar who was hit by a vehicle the previous day. Jharkhand Police has formed a special investigation team to look into the death of Dhanbad Additional Sessions Judge Uttam Kumar, a report stated. The CCTV footage showed a three-wheeler suddenly swerving towards Kumar, who was walking on an empty road. The three-wheeler hit Uttam and then drove away. The CCTV footage and all related aspects are being analysed to identify the vehicle. Sanjeev also said that a murder case has been registered into the matter while the police has been looking into all possible angles. Two people have been arrested so far. Soon after the accident, the residents took the judge to the Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Medical College and Hospital.
