Jobless youths lay siege to Punjab CM's house, seek appointment letters
Jobless candidates from across Punjab launched a dharna in front of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's residence in Chandigarh on Monday. They alleged that despite clearing a police exam, they had not received job letters.

As per information, AIG kamar Deep Kaur also reached the spot and assured the protesting candidates of getting their employment letters issued at the earliest. However, the protesters refused to budge.
The jobless youths said they would not call off their agitation until they received a written intimation about their date of joining.
Meanwhile, the Chandigarh Police warned the protesters of stern action if they failed to vacate the dharna site.
The dharna was on when the report was last filed.
