Online registration for recruitment in Indian Army to begin from March 12 | Check complete details
PTC News Desk: Online registration for recruitment in Indian Army for year 2025-26 is starting from 12 March 2025 and will continue till 10 April 2025. All eligible unmarried male/ female candidates hailing from the districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot can apply online through (joinindianarmy.nic.in) website.
Candidates can apply for the following categories under Agnipath Scheme:
Agniveer General Duty
Agniveer Clerk & Store Keeper Technical
Agniveer Technical
Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass
Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass
Agniveer Women Military Police (AVWMP – females only)
Candidates can also apply for regular categories of Soldier Tech Nursing Assistant, Sepoy Pharma, Religious Teacher, Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer), JCO (Catering) and Havildar Education, further details of which are available on above mentioned website.
All the candidates are advised to link their mobile number with Aadhar Card and preferably have Digi Locker account before proceeding for registration.
From current year, Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is being conducted in 13 languages including Punjabi as well. Candidates passing CEE will be called up to attend Physical rally in second phase of selection process. A notable change has been made in the Run Test wherein the pass timings have been increased upto 6 Min 15 Secs.
Typing test for Agniveer Clerk and Store Keeper Technical will be carried out during the Online CEE wherein 30 words per min in English during the test is desirable. Candidates are advised to carry out necessary practice prior to commencement of test.
