Kalka-Delhi Shatabdi train service resumes
Chandigarh: The Indian Railways has restored the services of Kalka-Delhi Shatabdi which was stopped since March following the lockdown induced by the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. The Kalka-Delhi Shatabdi will be operational after almost 257 days on December 4. According to the report that quoted IRCTC website, only a few passengers will travel on the train. Apart from this, the train running between Darbhanga-Amritsar was completely cancelled while the operation of 14 long-distance trains will remain the same. The 05211 Dibrugarh- Amritsar express special train JCO December 4, 2020, will remain cancelled. Consequently, the 05212 Amritsar – Dibrugarh special train JCO December 5, 2020, will also remain cancelled. The Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi via Chandigarh was suspended due to coronavirus for a long time but it has finally been restored.
