Mohali, September 15:
A Punjabi youth, identified as Paramvir Singh, was allegedly shot dead at a store in Georgia, United States(US). He belonged to Dhapai village in Kapurthala district and was the only son of his parents.
A pall of gloom descended on Kapurthala's village after the news of Paramvir Singh's death. Paramvir Singh's father Hardyal Singh said his body would be brought to Dhapai village. The victim's mother is the village sarpanch.

It is learnt that Paramjit Singh used to work at a store. He was sitting at his store when a suspected thief opened fire at him. Paramjit Singh died on the spot. The accused, Chris Copeland (26), has been arrested.
