Karnal Mini-Secretariat gherao: Gurnam Charuni, Yogendra Yadav court arrest, released
Karnal Mini-Secretariat gherao: Farmer leaders Gurnam Charuni, Yogendra Yadav and other protesters courted arrest on the way to the Mini-Secretariat on Tuesday. However, the police released them after a few minutes following pressure from the protesting farmers.
As of now, there are no reports of any untoward incident, thought a large number of protesters are moving towards the Mini-Secretariat. Karnal district has virtually turned into a fortress. Farmers leaders have said that their protest will continue till their demands are met.

Earlier, a meeting between 11-member committee of meeting and administrative officials failed following which the protesters decided to carry on with their Mini-Secretariat plan.

As per reports, a record number of protesters are present in Karnal.
