Kartarpur Corridor to open for pilgrims today
The much-awaited Kartarpur Corridor connecting Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan's Kartarpur will be formally open for pilgrims on Saturday. The initiative has been taken ahead of 550th birth anniversary of Sikhism founder Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on November 12. Meanwhile, India and Pakistan will hold a separate ceremonies on either side of the border to inaugurate the corridor. It will facilitate pilgrims to visit the final resting place of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
