Man accused of raping two-week-old baby 'under 24 hour guard in prison

Ireland: Man accused of raping two-week-old baby 'under 24-hour guard in prison A man who raped a two-week-old baby is put under 24-hour guard in prison to stop other prisoners from lynching him. The 25-year-old accused is charged with rape and harming after the newborn was left in a serious condition. The baby is being treated in ICU at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children in Northern Ireland. The crime took place on September 29 in the Annalong area of County Down, Infant’s home. The accused has been held on remand at HMP Maghaberry in Lisburn. He is being treated as ‘Special Person at Risk.’ He is put in another unit away from terrorists, violent thugs, gangsters, and murderers. The tension inside the jail is so high, that if any of the prisoners got any near to him, they would lynch him. He would be presented at Newry Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. A two-week-old baby was raped brutally by a 25-year-old man in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The infant is said to be in serious condition today after rape. The infant sustained a number of serious injuries after which the baby was admitted in the Intensive care unit of Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. -PTC NEWS
