Manjinder Singh Sirsa resigns as DSGMC president, joins BJP

Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Wednesday resigned as the president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president and joined the BJP.

"With gratitude to all office-bearers, members, staff and people who worked with me; I am resigning from the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee as president. I will not contest the upcoming DSGMC internal elections. My commitment to serving my community, humanity & nation remains the same," said Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

In a letter issued by Manjinder Singh Sirsa, he wrote: "Due to some personal reasons, I do hereby resign from the post of President, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee with immediate effect."
It is pertinent to mention that he had lost from Punjabi Bagh seat in DSGMC elections 2022.
