Haryana-based 17-year-old Indian shooter, Manu Bhaker, on Thursday scripted history as she won a gold medal in Women's 10m Air Pistol event at the 2019 ISSF World Cup. Also, she created a junior world record of 244.7. It is India's first gold medal this year in the shooting world cup. Meanwhile, Yashaswini Deswal was also in the same event who finished 6th in the final round. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1197381749220593665 Now, Manu Bhaker is the second Indian after Heena Sidhu to win gold medal at the ISSF World Cup final. Zorana Arunovic from Serbia came second on the podium with a score of 241.9, while China's Quian Wang won the third spot with a score of 221.8. She had also bagged Youth Olympics Gold medal and Asian Championship Gold medal. However, she managed to score 583 in the qualification round. She had shot 292 and 291 in the precision and rapid events respectively. Manu was tied with two others but lack of inner 10s comparing to the other two saw her drop out of contention for the final round. The 10m Pistol event also seen Abhishek Verma top the qualification while Saurabh Chaudhary made it to the final round. Meanwhile, the results of 10m Air Pistol Men's final, 10m Air Rifle Women's final and 10 Air Rifle Men's final are yet to be declared. -PTC News-
