Mobile net and SMS services suspended in four districts of Punjab for next 24 hours
Mobile net and SMS services have been suspended in the four districts of Punjab for next 24 hours.
These districts are Jalandhar , Hoshiarpur , Kapurthala and Nawanshehr (SBS Nagar).
The decision have been taken keeping in view the tension following clashes between Dalits and the right wing organizations at Phagwara.
Four persons were injured and dozens of vehicles, including cars and scooters, were damaged in the violent clash that followed initial brawl and stone pelting on Friday night following the clash.
Fire shots were also heard during clashes. People of both the communities faced off and the situation became tense when police intervened.
