Modi will attend a function to begin work of oil refinery : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend an inaugural function for the beginning of work for the oil refinery at Pachpadra in Rajasthan tomorrow.
It is to be mentioned that Congress President Sonia Gandhi laid down the foundation stone of this refinery four years ago. According to the inputs coming in Prime Minister will also be addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan on this occasion.
It is to be mentioned that this would be the first refinery in the state whereas the state had major reserves of oil and gas. The product output from the refinery will conform to the advanced BS-VI emission norms. The estimated cost of the project, which is a Joint Venture of HPCL and Government of Rajasthan, is estimated over Rs 43,000 crore.
According to the information Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh and state Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, and several Cabinet Ministers are expected to attend the event.
