Mohali woman tests positive for coronavirus; total cases in Punjab 3

A resident of Phase-3 Mohali has been tested positive for coronavirus (COVID 19) on Friday. According to the information, the 69-year-old has recently returned from the UK. The woman has been identified as Gurdev Kaur. Meanwhile, her sister is being tested if she has been diagnosed with the pandemic. Meanwhile, Punjab has reported three confirmed cases so far, with one death.

First positive case of coronavirus in Chandigarh

A 23-year-old female, resident of Chandigarh was tested positive for coronavirus (COVID 19), on Thursday. She had travelled to England. This was the first confirmed case of coronavirus in Chandigarh.

Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma in self-isolation

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma decided to stay home for their safety and for everyone else. Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to share a video. The couple stated that "We know we are all going through a difficult time and the only way to stop coronavirus is by acting together. We are staying home for our safety and for everyone as well. And you should do it too to prevent the further spread of the virus." "Let's make it safe for us and everyone else by self-isolation. Stay home and stay healthy," they added.

PM Modi calls for Janta Curfew

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed the nation on the topics related to Coronavirus (COVID 19) and the ways to combat it. He said, "The world has seen various crises and challenges but the situation arising due to COVID-19 is unprecedented. We in India are leaving no stone unturned to overcome this menace. The need of the hour is to be alert and vigilant."
