Motorcyclist and Cyclist hit by PRTC bus; dies There are two reports of the negligence of PRTC drivers. One report is from Chandigarh, where a 65-year-old cyclist was killed after being hit by a PRTC bus. The victim, Rameshwar Dass, was a retired CTU employee. He was a resident of sector 47, Chandigarh. The bus hit the cyclist. The injured person was rushed to the hospital. Doctors declared him brought dead. The driver of the PRTC bus has been booked under Sections 279 and 304-A of the IPC at the Sector 31 police station. Police has arrested the driver. He was later released on bail. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead. From his pocket, Rs 23,000 and a driving license was recovered from the victim.
