Rajasthan: Ex CM Ashok Gehlot tests positive for Covid, swine flu

Rajasthan: In breaking news from Rajasthan, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tested positive for COVID-19 and swine flu.

In a post on X, the senior Congress leader said, "Due to fever for the last few days, got tested today on the advice of doctors, which confirmed Covid and swine flu. Because of this I will not be able to meet for the next seven days," he wrote in a post on X on Friday.

As per the sources, the former Chief Minister has been admitted to the IDH centre of SMS Hospital in Jaipur for better recovery.

The condition of the former CM is stable as of now and he is recovering under the supervision of doctors.
Keeping in view, the change in weather with relentless rainfall and bone-chilling cold wave from last few days, Gehlot also urged people to prioritise their well-being during the transitional weather.

"In this changing season, everyone should also take care of their health," he added in the post.

Meanwhile, biting cold gripped several places of Northern and North-eastern parts of the country such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Bihar as temperature dropped to minus Celsius, a dense layer of fog has engulfed the city which resulted in very low visibility, affected normal life and delayed flight operations.

Dense fog, low clouds and low visibility persists over several parts of North India due to which travellers and passengers all across the nation face delays, cancellation in aviation, road transport and train operations all across the nation.
