PTC News Desk: A tragic incident occurred in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a man died while performing a patriotic song at a yoga center. The man, identified as 73-year-old Lavinder Singh Chhabra, collapsed on stage while holding the tricolour flag and performing to the song "Maa Tujhe Salaam."

The audience, believing his collapse to be part of the performance, continued to applaud, unaware of the severity of the situation. The video capturing this heartbreaking event has since gone viral on social media.


The incident took place at the Aastha Yoga Kranti center located in the city's Futi Kothi area. During a patriotic event organized at the center, Lavinder Singh Chhabra, while passionately performing with the Indian flag in his hand, suddenly fell to the ground. The audience's applause continued as they mistook his fall for part of the act.

Members of Aastha Yoga Kranti quickly rushed Chhabra to the hospital. Despite their swift actions, doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Initial medical investigations suggest that he suffered a heart attack, but definitive conclusions will only be drawn after the postmortem report is completed.

Chhabra’s performance on "Maa Tujhe Salaam" was meant to be a patriotic tribute, and he was in high spirits, engaging the audience with his fervor. It is also noted that Chhabra had filled out an organ donation form, indicating his commitment to contributing to society even in death.
