Char Dham Yatra 2024: Devbhoomi's renowned Char Dham Yatra began this month, gathering an unprecedented 29,000 pilgrims on its first day.

"The Char Dham Yatra commenced in Uttarakhand on May 10. For the last two days, all three Dhams including Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri have been bustling. On the first day, a record number of more than 29 thousand pilgrims from India and abroad visited Kedarnath Dham," the State Information Department said.

Strong efforts have been made to guarantee that there are no problems at the Kedarnath Dham, Kedarnath footpath, Kedarnath highway, or the helipad, as directed by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The district administration has built up a separate Yatra Control Room, which includes CCTV cameras. Employees have been stationed in the Yatra Control Room around the clock.

Aside from that, the problems reported by passengers via the helpline number are being addressed.

In addition, if passengers encounter any problems at the helipad, footpath, highway, or Kedarnath Dham, the administration can monitor it via CCTV cameras.

Additionally, arrangements have been made to quickly resolve passengers' issues by dispatching the concerned officials to the location.
