Good news for pilgrims: Bus service to start between Sri Naina Devi temple, Delhi soon
Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has announced the commencement of a bus service between the Sri Naina Devi temple and Delhi. The announcement came after a group of local citizens met with Agnihotri, who also holds the transport portfolio, on Saturday evening, according to officials.
A bus service connecting Sri Naina Devi Temple and Delhi will be launched soon. According to Agnihotri, this project will promote religious tourism and make it easier to visit the shrine.
Previously, he stated that bus services between Chintpurni Mata and Khatushyam temple, Baba Balak Nath temple and Amritsar, and Baba Balak Nath (Deyotsiddh) and Delhi are being considered and that all necessary formalities will be completed shortly.
Himachal Pradesh features many historic temples as well as five Shaktipeethas: Chintpurni, Barjeshwai Mata, Chamunda Devi, Naina Devi, and Jwalaji. Every year, thousands of worshippers visit these religious sites.
Agnihotri also met with officials from the Jal Shakti Department, Himachal Road Transport Corporation, and the Transport Department to discuss ongoing development activities in the Bilaspur area, according to officials.
According to reports, he asked the Jal Shakti Department to ensure a timely and adequate supply of drinking water to the people during the summer.
