J-K: Army Major opens fire at soldiers in Rajouri, leaves six injured
PTC News Desk: In a shocking incident, sources said that an Army Major opened fire at his fellow soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri. At least six soldiers are said to be injured in the incident.
According to a media outlet, at least two of the injured soldiers are officers, according to reports.
The shooting occurred at a camp of the 48 Rashtriya Rifles in Thanamandi. In the region, the battalion has been conducting anti-terrorist operations.
The cause for the Major opening fire is unknown at this time. "Efforts are on to control the situation, and senior Army officers have rushed to the site," according to a source.
