Jaipur hospital under scrutiny for alleged illegal kidney transplants
PTC News Desk: In a shocking revelation, Health officials have uncovered an alleged illegal kidney transplant scandal at a prominent private hospital in Jaipur. The CM Flying Squad and the Health Department conducted a joint operation and discovered that kidney transplants were being performed without matching the patient and donor's blood groups.
According to District Health Department officials, financially weak individuals from Bangladesh were lured to India with promises of monetary compensation ranging from Rs 2 to 3 lakhs for their kidneys. Following the kidney transplants, the donors were transferred to a hotel in Gurugram for medical care.

According to Doctor Pawan Choudhary of Civil Hospital Gurugram, a joint operation involving Health Department officials, Gurugram Police, and CM Flying personnel found three Bangladeshi donors in a hotel in Gurugram. Authorities launched an extensive investigation into the suspected racket and also seized passports and other relevant documents from the donors.
Further information is awaited as the police investigation into the matter continues.
According to the raiding team, the hotel rooms were equipped similarly to intensive care units, providing post-transplant care before sending the donors back to Bangladesh.
One of the donors apprehended during the operation admitted to being lured to India with fake documentation and promised Rs 4 lakh in exchange for a kidney donation.
