Khalistan supporters heckle Jaishankar in London, desecrates Indian flag; India reacts
PTC News Desk: Khalistan supporters in London heckled and attempted to attack MEA Jaishankar in London while he was leaving in a car after attending an event at the Chatham House think tank
A purported video of the incident showed a man approaching towards External Affair Minister's vehicle and tearing down Indian National flag in front of the London police officers. Notably the officers remained unresponsive in spite of the attempt of attack.

Besides, Khalistan supporters gathered outside the venue where Jaishankar arrived to participate in an event and launched a protest.

Meanwhile India has strongly criticised security breach of during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's UK visit calling them 'provocative activities'. In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs called out the misuse of "democratic freedoms" by a small group of "separatists and extremists".
"We have seen the footage of a breach of security during the visit of EAM to the UK. We condemn the provocative activities of this small group of separatists and extremists. We deplore the misuse of democratic freedoms by such elements. We expect the host government in such cases to fully live up to their diplomatic obligations," the statement by the MEA read.
