Massive fire breaks out in shops selling firecrackers in Mathura; 9 injured
PTC News Desk: A fire broke out at a shop and spread to six others in Gopalbagh, on the outskirts of Uttar Pradesh's Mathura city, on Sunday, injuring nine people.
"Seven firecracker shops in the Gopalbagh area caught fire. Burn injuries were sustained by nine people. The fire appears to have been started by an electrical short circuit," according to Raya police station SHO Ajay Kishor.
He also stated that the seven shops were permitted to sell firecrackers.
