This is not the first such incident on the Sohna Road Expressway. The road has seen several cave-ins over the years, with authorities carrying out temporary repairs each time instead of solving the main problem permanently. Repair teams reached the site soon after the latest collapse was reported, but residents and commuters expressed frustration, saying the same stretch had been repaired earlier as well, only for the damage to return within months.
