President Murmu to visit Amritsar, pay obeisance at Golden Temple
New Delhi, March 5: President Draupadi Murmu is set to visit Punjab's Amritsar on March 9.
The President will be on a one-day visit to Amritsar where she will pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib. She will also visit Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple and Sri Ram Teerth.
The district administration has started preparations for President's arrival and security. This will be Murmu's first visit to Golden Temple after assuming office as President of India.
