Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot instructed officials to take strong action against habitual offenders during a late-night meeting at his residence on Monday.
"Our top priority is to prevent crimes against women and weaker sections. A record of the miscreants should be kept, and it should be noted on their character certificate."
"Action up to disqualification from government job should be taken on habitual miscreants," Gehlot told officials. In addition, the records of habitual miscreants would be sent to government recruitment bodies such as the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and the Staff Selection Board.
Gehlot has ordered officers to conduct a special operation to apprehend the molesters. Miscreants will be monitored by police officers dressed in civilian attire in schools, colleges, and markets.
