Slap-gate incident: Kangana Ranaut, who has recently been elected MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, was slapped by a CISF security official at the Chandigarh airport which stirred controversy, sparked widespread debate and divided public opinion
Questioning the individuals encouraging the alleged slap incident against her, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP-elect Kangana Ranaut commented that they should examine their own "criminal tendencies" and suggested they engage in yoga or meditation to overcome hate and jealousy.
Taking to her X handle, Actress turned politician and winner from Mandi Lok Sabha Kangana Ranaut said, "Every rapist, murderer or thief always have a strong emotional, physical, psychological or financial reason to commit a crime, no crime ever happens without a reason, yet they are convicted and sentenced to jail. If you are aligned with the criminal strong emotional impulse to commit a crime violating all laws of the land."
"Remember if you are ok with breaking into someone's intimate zone, without their permission touching their bodies and assaulting them then deep down you are ok with rape or murder also because that's also just penetration or stab only what big deal, you must look deeper into your psychological criminal tendencies," she added.

Kangana further said, "I suggest please take up yoga and meditation or else life will become a bitter and burdensome experience, don't carry so much grudge, hate and jealousy please, free yourself."
The slap-gat incident reportedly occurred at the frisking area of the Chandigarh airport when Kangana Ranaut was proceeding to the boarding point after the security check. Following the altercation, Kulwinder Kaur was detained and subsequently suspended after Kangana Ranaut filed a complaint with CISF officials upon her arrival at the Indira Gandhi airport, New Delhi. An FIR has been lodged against her under IPC sections 321 and 341. These are bailable offences.
Kangana Ranaut, who recently won the Lok Sabha Elections from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency, will soon be seen in her directorial debut, 'Emergency', produced under her home banner, Manikarnika Films.
