'Symbol of our rich heritage': UP CM Yogi Adityanath extends greetings on Baisakhi

Baisakhi 2024: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished everyone a happy Baisakhi on Saturday.

In his greeting message, the Chief Minister stated that the Baisakhi festival represents our glorious traditions and heritage. "This festival, which celebrates the harvesting of new crops, exemplifies our country's farming traditions and rich culture."


The Khalsa Panth was founded on Baisakhi Day by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru. This day is widely celebrated throughout India with various festivals."All of these festivals celebrate the arrival of the New Year," the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister stated.

"May Baisakhi, the festival of joy and happiness, brings prosperity and happiness in everyone's life," he said in a statement.

Baisakhi, also known as Vaisakhi, embodies the essence of joy, reflection, and renewal, signifying the beginning of a new year and commemorating significant historical events. It heralds the onset of the harvest season and marks the commencement of the solar New Year in various parts of north India.
