ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਡਰੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਏਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ
8 ਅਤੇ 9 ਮਈ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਨਲੀਆ ਤੱਕ ਹਮਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ
ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਟਾਰਗੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੋਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾਣ ਭਰਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ

ਫੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਲਈ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ

ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿੱਚ DGMO ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਜਨਰਲ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਘਈ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ - ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ 26 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਬੇਰਹਿਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ? ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਜਨਰਲ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਘਈ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਦੂਰ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਸੀ।
ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਦਲਵਿੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ’ਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ 'ਚ ਰਾਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਲੈਕਆਊਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ 8 ਵਜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਸਵੈ-ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਗੈਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਸੁਨੇਹਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਬੰਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
The Director General of Military Operations Lt. Gen Rajiv Ghai emphasized that they have achieved what they wanted to and their goals have been accomplished. He contended that the main objective of the forces is to ensure peace and not war however the forces are ready for any eventuality and are alert on all the times. He also emphasized that earlier yesterday Pak DGMO initiated the truce talks and India will hit hard if Pak tries to backtracks on ceasefire understanding.
The DGMO also confirmed shooting down Pak fighter jets during the operations. The top body further said that Pakistan used civilian planes as shield and the aircrafts were still flying while the attacks were launched from Lahore towards India. However owing to India's strategic and calibrated response, no civilian aircrafts were affected and terror hideouts were the only targets of the forces.
Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti said that several Pakistani air defence systems attacked multiple Indian Air Forces bases almost simultaneously, and they came in waves. The top Air Force official said that India's air defence systems were waiting for them and neutralised all of them. No damage on the ground from these incursions and mass raids from the Pakistani side.

All the residents in Punjab's border district Ferozpur are advised to voluntarily observe a complete blackout by switching off all the lights at 8 pm. The directions are issued as a precautionary measure.

A day after US President announced that his country brokered ceasefire deal between India and Pakistan, Donald Trump on Sunday said that he is looking forward to working with both countries to reach a solution on the Kashmir issue after a "thousand years."

In a statement issued at 8.15 am, Amritsar DC said a short siren would be heard, which would indicate that normal activities can be resumed in the city.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a conversation with India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, expressing hope that New Delhi and Islamabad would resolve their differences through dialogue and work towards a lasting ceasefire.
According to reports from Xinhua, Wang also spoke with Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar as part of Beijing’s diplomatic outreach.
During the conversation, Wang told Doval that China supports and expects both India and Pakistan to achieve a comprehensive and enduring ceasefire through consultations — a step that serves the core interests of both nations and aligns with the aspirations of the international community. He also condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and reiterated China’s opposition to all forms of terrorism.
NSA Doval emphasised that war is not India’s choice and does not serve the interests of either country. He underlined India and Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining the ceasefire and expressed hope that regional peace and stability would be restored at the earliest, the reports added.

Explosions rocked Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district and areas along the Line of Control (LoC), as multiple drones were spotted shortly after the truce took effect.

Ceasefire violated within hours:
Pakistan breached the freshly agreed ceasefire late last night, with explosions reported in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla and along the Line of Control (LoC). Drone sightings were recorded shortly after the truce came into effect.
Artillery shelling in border sectors:
Pakistani forces allegedly opened artillery fire in Akhnoor, Rajouri, and RS Pura sectors near the International Border. Indian air defence systems were activated following multiple drone sightings in Rajouri and Srinagar, where at least four drones were downed near an Army base.
Blackouts and alerts imposed:
Red alerts and blackouts were enforced in parts of Srinagar due to fears of further drone strikes. Explosions were also reported in Rajasthan’s Pokhran region as Indian forces intercepted additional aerial threats.
BSF ordered full retaliation:
The Border Security Force (BSF) was directed to respond decisively to provocations. India’s operational readiness was heightened across all sensitive sectors.
Ceasefire initiated after Pakistan’s request:
