Delhi horror: Woman sexually assaulted inside bus in national capital, driver, conductor arrested
PTC News Desk: A woman was sexually assaulted inside a stationary sleeper bus in Delhi's Nangloi area. On May 11 night, she was walking back home after work, as she usually does, when a sleeper bus pulled up at bus stop in Saraswati Vihar.
Delhi Police said the vehicle allegedly used in the crime has been seized, and officials added that the investigation is continuing from all possible angles.
According to police, the woman had approached a man standing near the door of a bus to ask for the time. She was then allegedly forced inside the vehicle. Police said the accused drove the bus towards Nangloi, where the sexual assault allegedly took place.
Officials said the woman is married and has three children. After her medical examination, an FIR was registered and the accused were arrested. Police added that the woman was allegedly taken from the Rani Bagh area to Nangloi, where she was sexually assaulted.
Further investigation is underway.
