Congress Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday, resigned from position of minister from the Punjab Cabinet. Navjot Singh Sidhu posted his resignation to Rahul Gandhi following his resgination. The resignation letter is dated June 10, 2019. Last month, the Cabinet minister was given the portfolio of new and renewable energy, after the Cabinet reshuffle. Meanwhile, there have been many times, when the posters were slated in the areas of Punjab asking the minister to resign. Navjot Singh Sidhu have been adamant on not taking charge as the new portfolio till June 6. Also, the resignation states the date of June 10, while its July 14, when Navjot Singh Sidhu has shared the resignation on the twitter. While, in other tweet he said he will send his resignation to the Chief Minister of Punjab. Also, Navjot Singh Sidhu gave a statement during Lok Sabha Elections 2019, that he will resign if Rahul Gandhi will lose from the Amethi Constituency against BJPs Smriti Irani.
