Navtej Singh Cheema (MLA-Sultanpur Lodhi)
Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Indian political leader Navtej Singh Cheema is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) and an MLA from Sultanpur Lodhi. He was born on April 2, 1974, in Bussowal. Navtej Singh Cheema is a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and the current MLA of Sultanpur Lodhi. He was elected twice to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in 2012 and again in 2017. He also won the 2017 assembly elections with a margin of 8162 votes. He is presently serving as a member of the Committee on Petitions & Committee on Government Assurances of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2018-19) and General Secretary of Punjab Congress Legislature Party. He remained President of District Congress Committee, Kapurthala (Punjab) and member of Planning Board; Member, House Committee, Questions and Reference Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2017-18), and Chief Whip of Punjab Congress Legislature Party from 2015-2017.
