Newborn Boy Strangled, Flushed Down Train Toilet Dies In Amritsar
A newborn boy, who miraculously survived after he was strangulated and flushed down the train toilet, has died on Monday in Amritsar. The baby was strangled and dumped with a rope around his neck in the toilet of the Howrah Express on Saturday. The sweepers at the railway station noticed a rope. When they pulled that rope up, they found a baby.

The condition of the baby was stated to be very critical at the time he was rushed to the Civil Hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries.
The child specialist at the Civil Hospital, Dr Sandeep Aggarwal, told the media that the baby’s body temperature was very low and he had other complications also. Upon his arrival, he was put on artificial respiration, but he remained under severe shock.

The doctors at the hospital noticed bleeding in his lungs that ultimately resulted in the rupturing of the blood vessels. The doctors tried their best to save the baby but couldn't save him. The baby already suffered a lot of damage internally.

Police started the investigation during which the eyewitnesses told that the boy remained two feet deep in the toilet seat for a minimum of 4 hours. And the passengers kept using the toilet without noticing the baby. The railway authorities were very carefully scrutinizing the CCTV footage at all stations to find the accused. A case has been registered under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code against the unidentified persons.
